Getting it together

In my innocence, I thought getting it together meant starting a bf/gf, bf/bf, or gf/gf relationship, but I have recently found that it isn't. At least not all the time. Apparently it often means the same as what I thought of as 'getting it on' -- which is by no co-incidence the name of the leaflet that comes with packets of Durex condoms. Eithe rway, I now have a mix of embarassment with a sprinkling of subversive glee, but only a sprinkling. Anyway, I have been thinking about 'getting it together' recently. My meaning that is. :-)
